SCHOLARSHIPS

NPAS Scholarship Programme Applications open.
Our scholarship programme is open to everyone – All children and young people from the age of 4 to 20 years and all abilities are welcome to apply.

These scholarships are provided by NPAS through direct funding, fundraising and donations. And from proceeds of our 30 years Strictly Ballroom fundraiser event in March 2024 – we have a new Scholarship Award the “Conal Kearney Award”.
Please only apply for a scholarship if you feel you fit the main criteria which is that if the student did not receive a scholarship they could not attend the class or our school.
All current scholarship students must re-apply through this form for the coming year 24/25 as we try to share around our scholarship opportunities  as much as possible to give lots of children a chance to come to our school.
Please note that applying does not mean automatic entry into the programme. Scholarships will be given for 1 hour of class with us.
If you are not successful in receiving a scholarship this time, we will 100% hold a place for you in the class(es) your looking to do.
APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024/25 CLOSE ON 10th  SEPTEMBER 2024

The Conal Kearney Award

We would like to announce that, from the proceeds of the Strictly Ballroom evening, NPAS would like to announce their new Scholarship Award, which will be given out annually. It is with great honour we announce the “The Conal Kearney Award.”

Conal Kearny was a prolific actor in the Abbey Theatre and did incredible drama facilitation directing and drama therapy throughout all of Ireland. He directed many NPAS shows and drama classes over the years and was a kind mentor to many NPAS students in the factory!  Conal, our very close friend, passed away in January 2024, after 40 years of friendship, adventure, inspiration and showing us time and time again how art and creativity truly can change lives. And in his legacy, NPAS’s Scholarship from September 2024 will be the “Conal Kearney Award”.
