Irish Board of Speech & Drama EXAMS

We are delighted to be entering our Junior Drama Classes, and Musical Theatre Classes into
Examinations with The Irish Board of Speech and Drama. This is our 30th year taking exams
with the Board, and it has always been a wonderful confidence-building occasion for all our
students. It gives students a direction and goal in class for the first term and we very much recommend

it but it is optional. Every student taking the exams will receive a certificate from the Board. Fees must be paid by Nov 1st 2023.

Drama Exams

Sunday 26th November

The following are the classes entering exams.:
– Jill 10am Drama Class (Arrive at 10am)
– Jill & KK’s 11am Drama Class (Arrive at 11am)

– Jill & Louis’s 12 noon Drama Class (Arrive at 12pm)
 

The cost of communication (poetry) exam is:

Junior 1 & 2 is €24 / Junior 3 & 4 is €28 / Intermediate 1  2 is €34
Payable via Easy Payment or cash in class by 1st Nov
 
Please email info@npas.ie if unsure of the level, but children will be told in class and sent home with a letter and poetry piece chosen and suited to them.

Musical Theatre Exams

Musical Theatre Exams take place in the class group, all go into the exam together and perform their piece(s) prepared in class!

Includes an extra hour of rehearsal and exam fee.

– 9am & 10am Louis MT ( 10am arrival)
– 11am & 12pm Molly’s MT ( arrival at 11pm)
– 1pm Susan’s  MT (12pm arrival)

Open to older MT classes only
Workshop and performance opportunity, Come and explore your improv, Storytelling and Musical Theatre Skills- 3 teams Putting together 30-minute Musicals in only 30 minutes! An afternoon of fun and all things Musical Theatre!!!
